Detox White Tea

I love the idea of a mellow detox tea – something palate cleaning and mild to go with my meditations and more mindful way of living. It’s easy to make something organic, earthy and gourmet at home. It’s also a help in weight loss (it seems!). But do start with filtered or spring water.

2 quarts of filtered spring water
2 cups white tea, brewed
Juice of one small lemon
1 washed (organic lemon)
1 washed (organic) lime
1 washed (organic) small cucumber
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, in thin slices
Fresh mint (15-18 small leaves)

Place the water in a pouring container that will fit the water and add-ins. Add the white tea. Add in the lemon juice and then slice the lemon, cucumber, lime, and ginger. Stir these things into the water. Stir in the mint. Keep chilled.

Serves 8-10
