It’s washable and compostable and is the perfect replacement of the more typical plastic wrap which isn’t re-usable, not environmentally friendly and comparatively expensive (single use, cost of manufacture, etc.).  You can purchase a variety selection that includes different sizes and/or patterns or cut the size you need from a larger piece. Aside from wrapping up pancake batter bowls, sourdough starters and leftovers,  I also cut out small pieces of this mold-able paper to cover the aperture in a creamer for example to safeguard milk or cream against fridge orders.
