Hello fellow bakers and friends,

Happy New Year and welcome to the January 2020 issue of Betterbaking.com.  It’s a whole bright new day of baking and life. Welcome and thank you too, to the folks who signed up with the Boxing Day BB Bogo (buy one year of BB and get two full years of recipes)

Until I caught a good old-fashioned cold on New Year’s Eve, I had a whole lot to say and share with you in this very first missive of 2020. It was mostly about what I didn’t do in 2019, what I did do, acts both significant and modest but positive, the wellness trend, and thoughts about what we leave behind and how to embrace the present, living your best baking life, yada, yada, yada. Well, the best-laid plans of mice, men and bakers can go astray.
